Innerchild: A Playground for the Soul

Innerchild: A Playground for the Soul is a testament to what I believe to be my life’s purpose: bringing people joy. Over the span of two years, both as a personal pursuit and academic endeavor, through countless hours of research, networking, design, iteration, and reflection, I’ve poured my passion, creativity, and entire self into every detail. Innerchild represents not only who I am, but also the impact I aspire to make in the world through my work.

This project ultimately became the foundation of my academic capstone project as a senior in the Spatial Experience Design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology and was featured in the FIT Graduating Student Exhibition 2025. It was also featured in the 2025 Themed Attraction Showcase.

The Themed Attraction Student Showcase is a design competition in which students and recent graduates in themed entertainment, attraction design, and related fields submit creative projects (such as ride concepts, themed environments, interactive experiences, master plans, etc.) Submissions are reviewed by a panel of industry professionals who give feedback, discuss strengths and weaknesses, and select award winners.

Innerchild: A Playground for the Soul was reviewed by this team of professionals and awarded Best of Show: Fourth Runner Up as well as an Honorable Mention for Use of Technology.
